World-Text Non-Premium Short Codes provide a 2-way SMS messaging solution used to receive and send SMS text messages through a memorable short phone number or a "short code".

Short codes are easy to communicate to consumers and more memorable than long phone numbers; in the UK, short codes are a 5-digit number, such as 60600.

World-Text Non-Premium Short Codes can be used to enable an interactive direct response mechanism for any marketing/ad campaign or interactive service.

World Text Non-Premium Short Codes can either be unique or shared:

• A unique short code offers your brand a dedicated number for all campaigns
• A shared short code is faster to set-up and more cost-effective, but requires consumers to add a "keyword" in front of each SMS to direct the message to your specific service
