Email To SMS Gateway Instructions

Once you have configured your account, sending an Email to SMS is simple, just send your email to the following email address, no other address will work:

<mobile_number>@sms.world-text.com

This address must be specified in the 'To' line of your email and the mobile number must be specified in the international format, so if sending to a UK mobile, the number will start '44'.

Example:

To send a text message to a UK mobile number 071234567 send the email to:

To: 4471234567@sms.world-text.com

Now type your message in the main section of the email, this is typically known as the body of the email. Once you have done this you can send the message. If you have the option, send the email as 'Plain Text', NOT as 'HTML'.

Remember that a text message can only be 160 characters.

Secure ID Gateway

If your are using the Secure ID Gateway then you must put the Secure ID into the Subject line of the message.
