The mobile network SmarTone Hong Kong are starting to filter unsolicited enterprise SMS from being terminated on to their network with the use of an SMS firewall. This is to prevent their subscribers from receiving unsolicited text messages that have been sent to the SmarTone network via improper channels or from unauthorised networks.
Without prior agreement enterprise / bulk SMS will be blocked from reaching SmarTone subscribers.
