Desktop SMS PC Application

Introduction

New Feature: Now supports long SMS so you can send messages of over 160 characters and they are received as one message on the recipients handset (multiple text messages are sent for long SMS).

Desktop SMS is a Windows 2000/XP/Vista based PC application to send messages to either single or groups of recipients. It provides an address book that is integrated with your Web based World-Text account as well as canned messages which allows quick access to pre created regularly used messages.

Delivery receipts are another key feature of Desktop SMS, this shows in real time the delivery status of messages sent during a session, thereby allowing you to keep track of who has received texts.

Configuration

Once installed using the standard windows installer, all that is required to configure the SMS Companion is your World-Text login details, enter these exactly as you do on the World-Text web site.

If you are behind a Web Proxy then you can enter these details on the configuration page.
